Earlier this month, LUWI joined #JPM2025, the healthcare industry’s flagship event in San Francisco. Over four dynamic days, Lisa, Sam, and Marissa connected with investors, innovators, and thought leaders, sharing LUWI’s mission: introducing a new category of contraception for women. LUWI’s a hormone-free, latex-free, and STI-preventing contraceptive is the game changer that the sexual health industry is missing. But not for long…
Our team kicked off #JPM2025 energized and ready. After flying in from Chicago and Miami, #TeamLUWI made our way downtown, coffee in hand, to dive into a week of collaboration and inspiration.
We started the week at the H7 JPM Investment Demo Day, presenting to healthcare VCs, pharma leaders, and entrepreneurs. As part of the H7 Accelerator (founded and executed by Ella Li), LUWI had the opportunity to showcase our vision for the future of contraception. Lisa’s pitch captured attention and sparked meaningful conversations about the unmet needs in women’s health. Later, we connected with international investors and fellow entrepreneurs passionate about advancing innovation in this space.
Tuesday was a day filled with meaningful conversations and strategic networking. Our morning began at the Springboard event, hosted at Deloitte’s offices, where we joined other women-led healthcare startups in discussing opportunities and challenges in the industry. The energy in the room was infectious, as we shared insights and learned from others working to advance health equity.
The day concluded with LUWI’s pitch at the Life Sciences PitchForce Conference. In front of a packed room of investors and healthcare leaders, Lisa delivered a powerful presentation that highlighted LUWI’s unique position in the contraceptive market. The best part?! LUWI had a PERFECT 25/25 score awarded across five panelists! The enthusiasm from attendees solidified that we are on the right track, building a product that resonates with both women and industry stakeholders.
Our final day at #JPM2025 was all about soaking up knowledge and connecting with industry leaders. We attended the Goodwin + KPMG Symposium at the InterContinental Hotel, where we participated in sessions on regulatory insights, capital markets, and scaling healthcare startups. The panels were rich with expertise, offering valuable takeaways that will guide LUWI’s next steps.
The day ended on a celebratory note at Deloitte’s Women Networking Event, hosted at the Martin Lawrence Galleries. Surrounded by inspiring women in healthcare and venture capital, we reflected on the progress we’re making toward creating a future where contraception is accessible, effective, and designed with women in mind.
LUWI’s time at #JPM2025 reinforced the demand for innovative, women-centered health solutions. Each conversation underscored our mission to create contraception that is modern, effective, and enjoyable. We’re not just building a product—we’re driving change.
Thank you to the organizers, partners, and everyone who connected with us. Together, we’re shaping a future where contraception aligns with women’s needs and aspirations.
Stay tuned as we continue to grow. Whether you’re an investor, partner, or advocate, we invite you to join us in redefining what’s possible for women’s health.
See you next year, JPM!
