On Monday, July 21st, we had the honor of pitching LUWI at Springboard Enterprisesâ Dolphin Tank, a one-of-a-kind event that champions women-led innovation with intention, heart, and visionary support. As part of the 2025 Womenâs Health Innovation cohort, we were proud to stand alongside other bold voices in health and personal care.
You might think this event title  sounds familiar... you'd be right! Dolphin Tank is modeled after NBC's Shark Tank with an intentional reason for the remixed name: Dolphins swim together. Everyone in the room, whether a founder or investor or spectator, was invited to lift each other up... or "swim forward together." Â
Springboardâs Dolphin Tank isnât your typical pitch event. Itâs a collaborative space where ideas are met with encouragement, not ego. The environment was electric: full of smart investors, seasoned mentors, and fierce advocates for womenâs health. All attendees, whether in the first or last row of the audience, were invited to offer constructive feedback, real connections, and tangible support. It was everything a startup like ours could hope for: energizing, helpful, and deeply affirming.
Our CEO and founder, Lisa Kinsella, delivered LUWIâs pitch with clarity, compassion, and purpose. She introduced LUWI as more than just a health company; LUWI is movement toward better, safer, and more equitable options for women.
Lisa spoke about our flagship product, The LUWI Finer Linerâ˘. It's a latex-free, STI-preventing, hormone-free contraceptive, available over-the-counter, and made for women to be worn on the inside. Our message is clear: We are in a once-in-a-generation, cultural reset around womenâs agency. LUWI is building the must-have brand at the center of this revolution.
The panel of âdolphins,â experienced investors and health experts, offered thought-provoking questions and insightful guidance. They saw LUWI for what it is: a disruptive solution in a space that has long ignored womenâs real needs. Their enthusiasm and validation affirmed that weâre on the right path and meeting the needs of the 51% of our market that is underrepresented.
Weâre deeply grateful to Springboard Enterprises for creating the kind of space every founder deserves. Their commitment to uplifting women entrepreneurs, especially in sectors like ours that have historically been overlooked, is nothing short of transformative. With Springboardâs support, weâre moving forward with more momentum, connecting with more investors and partners, and taking charge for health-equity.
Dolphin Tank was a great experience that we'll be feeling beyond our time together at Matter Health's office in the Merchandise Mart. Weâre here to revolutionize contraception by centering womenâs experiences, needs, and desires. LUWI isnât just a new product â itâs a new standard.
And weâre just getting started.
